Wherever you are in your development as an actor, the HTN 7-week Acting & Comedy Improv Class will equip you with practical and professional acting skills, enabling you to reach new levels of confidence, power and impact in both your dramatic and comedic performances. Although many young actors have played improv games in theatre classes, very few have studied the true art of improv which produces fully formed theatrical scenes and well-defined and engaging characters. In this class you’ll experience what it is like to rehearse and perform as a comedy improv troupe as well as learning to use improv techniques to powerfully enhance your dramatic acting ability.
As one creative arts website notes, “Improvisation makes an actor more open to experimentation with characters, dialogue and body language, which can help overcome the fear of judgement and failure. It is an art that pushes actors to explore different types of characters and make bolder decisions, extending their creative boundaries.”
There is also a significant connection between learning the art of improvisation and growing in evangelism, discipleship and leadership. Improv develops increased listening skills, makes communication more precise and clearer, bolsters vulnerability and empathy, and inspires a positive problem-solving mentality. These are all invaluable tools for disciples of Jesus.

Whether you’re a new believer or a life-long Christian, there is always a next step in following Christ! HTN’s 7-week Discipleship Primer is designed to help you discover where you are at in your journey with Christ, discern what the next step in your journey is, and identify practical pathways that put you in a position for God to move you forward. This is accomplished through study and reflective discussion of the Scriptures and prayerful journaling as well as being equipped with practical discipleship tools produced by The Navigators Ministry.
The 7-week HTN Discipleship Primer will help you start the 2025/2026 school year with a renewed sense of purpose and vibrancy in your walk with Jesus!

Our Vision
To harness the power of theatrical storytelling to advance the kingdom of God.
Our Mission
To raise up a new generation of highly skilled disciple storytellers to reach the world for Christ.
We seek to be empowered by God to wisely steward the influential arts of theatre, acting, improvisation, directing and playwrighting to celebrate the light and glory of Jesus’ Name in a dark and broken world. Everywhere Jesus’ Name is honored and glorified people are drawn out of darkness. “The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in darkness a light has dawned.” – Isaiah 9:2
